PNC Bank Growing Our Region
Marketing Objective:
PNC wanted to provide invited guests and dignitaries attending the ribbon cutting event of First Side Center, with an invitation and gift that would tout the benefits of the nation's first "green" building of its kind.
Branding Strategy and Execution:
The invitation and gift were all made of either biodegradable or recyclable materials, or were living. The invitation included seed paper tucked behind a die-cut of the First Side center building. At the event, each guest was then given an attractive terra-cotta flower pot in which they could plant their seed paper. The gift came complete with soil and tools.
Campaign Results:
"The gift and seed concept were a hit with our guests and certainly emphasized the 'green' features of this great facility" said a PNC PR director.
